HELP

Firmamento · Staging help

Firmamento · Staging copies automated trading strategies into your own account on an exchange or in your wallet. You choose the strategy, the exchange and how much capital to allocate. Your funds never leave your account: you deposit nothing with Firmamento · Staging.

How it works

  1. Each strategy sends signals: enter, add, reduce, close or move the stop.
  2. Firmamento · Staging receives the signal and executes it on the accounts that copy it, each with its own allocated capital and limits.
  3. Orders are sent to your exchange through a trade-only connection: Firmamento · Staging never asks for permission to withdraw your funds elsewhere.
  4. In the panel you see each copy, its positions and what happened with every signal, in «My copies» and «Activity».

Signals do not arrive every day: sometimes several days pass between trades, and a trade can last a while. Each strategy has a «How it trades» sheet with its market, leverage and risk.

Connect an exchange with an API key

Centralized exchanges available: Bybit, Binance, OKX, KuCoin, Kraken and Coinbase.

  1. On your exchange, create a trade-only API key. Enable reading and trading for what you will use (futures or Spot) and leave withdrawals and transfers disabled.
  2. If the exchange allows it, restrict the key to the server IP. The panel shows the IP with a button to copy it.
  3. In the panel, open «Add exchange», choose yours and paste the key and its secret.
  4. Check the account settings each exchange needs (for example, position mode or margin type). Each exchange's form explains them.

Details per exchange:

  • OKX, KuCoin and Bitget: the key also has a *passphrase*. On OKX you also choose your account region.
  • Kraken: one key for Futures and another for Spot. One of the two is enough.
  • Coinbase: Spot only, with an Advanced Trade key without transfer permission.

The secret is stored encrypted and is never shown again. If a key allows withdrawals or transfers, the panel accepts it, but the account shows a warning until you remove them: Firmamento · Staging never uses them.

If the panel rejects your key because of its permissions

The panel rejects a key without trading permission. You don't need a new key: edit the key's permissions on the exchange and press "Connect" again with the same key and the same secret (editing the permissions doesn't change them). After this rejection, the form keeps them. If the key is already connected with the withdrawals or transfers warning, remove them the same way and press "Check again" on the account.

  • Bybit: API → your key → "Edit". Under "Assets", untick Account Transfer, Subaccount Transfer and Withdrawal, and any payment or card permission.
  • Binance: "API Management" → "Edit restrictions". Untick "Enable Withdrawals", "Permits Universal Transfer" and "Enable Internal Transfer".
  • OKX: Profile → API → your key → "Edit". Remove "Withdraw".
  • KuCoin: "API Management" → edit the key and untick Transfer, Flex Transfers and Withdrawal. If it won't let you, create another one with only Futures and/or Spot.
  • Bitget: "API Management" → edit the key and remove "Withdraw".
  • Kraken: for Spot, Settings → API → edit the key and untick the withdrawal permissions. For Futures, set "Withdrawal API" to No Access (if it can't be edited, create another one).
  • Coinbase: in the developer portal (CDP), edit the key and keep only View and Trade.

Connect a wallet

Decentralized exchanges available: Hyperliquid, Aster, Lighter, dYdX, Extended and GRVT.

  • Hyperliquid and Aster: you connect your wallet (with the WalletConnect QR code or the browser extension) and sign an agent that can open and close trades but cannot withdraw or transfer funds. Signing costs no gas. The agent expires: the panel warns you beforehand and you renew it with another signature.
  • GRVT: the panel generates a signer and you create on GRVT a trade-only API key, without transfers, with that signer.
  • dYdX and Extended: they connect with a trading key from a dedicated subaccount, never with your main wallet's private key. The dYdX key only trades; the Extended key can only withdraw to your own wallet.
  • Lighter: use a dedicated subaccount, deposit USDC and sign the account registration (no gas). The key it generates can only withdraw to that same wallet.

Copy a strategy

In «Strategies», pick one and press «Copy strategy». There are five steps:

  1. Exchange: where you want to copy it.
  2. Account: a connected, free account. Each account copies a single strategy.
  3. Where to trade: the market (perpetuals or Spot), depending on the strategy.
  4. Capital: a fixed amount or 100% of the account's eligible capital. You do not choose the leverage: the strategy sets it, and the notice says "up to Nx".
  5. Confirm: review the summary and connect.

The copy starts at the strategy's next entry: it never joins a trade that is already running. Until then you will see «Waiting for next entry».

First time? The «Guided setup» takes you step by step: where your money is, how to prepare the key or the wallet, connecting it and copying.

Test the connection

On the exchanges that support it, «Test connection» checks the key, the permissions and the market without trading.

  • It sends a limit order far from the price, which cannot fill, and cancels it at once. It costs nothing, but it stays in the exchange's order history.
  • Optionally, a test trade opens and closes the exchange's minimum size after one minute, capped at 250 USD. You see the estimated cost first.
  • Only with the account flat and no pending orders.

Pause, resume and stop copying

  • Pause new entries: the copy stops opening trades. Exits and the stop stay active. You can resume whenever you want.
  • Stop copying: the copy becomes Stopped: it opens no new entries, but keeps the account, capital and leverage. It is only possible with the account flat. It does not close positions, move funds or revoke the connection to the exchange.
  • Copy again: resumes a stopped copy without setting it up again. It joins at the strategy's next entry.
  • Delete: only for a stopped copy. It removes its settings and frees the account for another strategy.
  • If you need to close now: pause the new entries of that copy and close the position on your exchange.

Telegram notifications

You can get a Telegram message each time a strategy enters, adds, reduces or closes.

  1. Open the link or scan the strategy QR code shared by Firmamento · Staging.
  2. Press «Start» in the bot.
  3. To stop receiving them, send /salir.

The messages give the strategy, the pair and the time (UTC). They include no prices and no stop.

Security

  • Trading only: Firmamento · Staging never withdraws or transfers. If your key allows it, the panel warns you so you can remove it. Keys and secrets are stored encrypted and are never shown again.
  • Two-step verification (2FA): optional, with Google Authenticator or a compatible app and single-use recovery codes. When it is on, sensitive actions ask for a code; pausing never does.
  • Emergency pause: stops new entries on every exchange at once. Exits and stops keep running.
  • Never share your wallet's seed phrase or private key, or your verification codes. API keys and the dYdX and Extended trading keys only go into the panel's connection form: nobody on the team will ask for them.
  • Official addresses: before signing a deposit, check that the address your wallet shows is on the list of official addresses, on the same network. The panel carries that list inside and does not open your wallet if the server asks you to sign towards another address.

Risks

  • You copy the strategy as it is: you only decide the allocated capital. The strategy sets the leverage.
  • Past results do not guarantee future results.
  • A strategy without a stop has no fixed loss limit.
  • Price gaps, slippage or a liquidation can make you lose more than expected.
  • Each exchange limits the countries it can be used from: check its terms before connecting.
  • The help on this page is general and is not personalised advice.

Frequently asked questions

Can Firmamento · Staging withdraw my money?

No. Firmamento · Staging only sends trading orders: it never requests withdrawals or transfers, and Hyperliquid and Aster agents cannot withdraw or transfer. On Extended and Lighter, the key can only withdraw to your own wallet. If your API key allows withdrawals or transfers, the panel warns you to remove them: that way, even if someone copied the key, they couldn't take your funds.

Do I have to deposit funds with Firmamento · Staging?

No. The money stays in your exchange account or your wallet, and orders are executed there.

How much capital do I need?

Whatever you want to allocate, from 10 units of the account's currency (for example, 10 USDT). Each exchange also has its own minimum order size.

I created a copy and it does not trade. Is that normal?

Yes, while it waits for the strategy's next entry: a copy never joins a trade that has already started. If the copy says «Needs review» or «New entries paused», the panel explains why and what to do.

Can I copy two strategies with the same account?

No. Each account copies a single strategy. For another strategy, connect another account or subaccount.

What happens if I close the position by hand on the exchange?

Pause that copy's new entries first; otherwise the strategy may enter again on its next signal.

What is an «order to verify»?

An order whose result the exchange has not confirmed yet. Meanwhile that account opens nothing new. Use «Verify orders and stops» on the account.

Why does my wallet agent expire?

For security, Hyperliquid and Aster give agents a limited validity. The panel warns you beforehand and you renew it with a signature, without gas.

Which languages is the panel in?

Spanish, English, Portuguese, French and German. Choose the language at the top right.

Support

Inside the panel there is a help assistant with articles and a check of your account status.
